• User-generated content (character prompts, saved characters)

b) Data Sent to AI Image Generation

When you use the character generation feature, we send the following to our third-party AI provider (Replicate):

• Your character description (the prompt text you type)
• Mood, time period (era), style, and character type selections

This data is sent only after you have given explicit consent via the in-app consent screen.

c) Automatically Collected Data

• Device type and operating system
• App usage data and interaction events
• IP address (if server-based processing occurs)
• Crash logs and diagnostics

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process personal data under the following lawful bases:

• Performance of a contract (to provide the app functionality)
• Legitimate interest (service improvement, security)
• User consent (analytics, optional tracking, AI image generation)

• Replicate (replicate.com) – Our third-party AI provider. When you generate a character, we send your prompt text and style choices to Replicate to produce the image. Avatariq is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware of such data, it will be deleted promptly.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data. However, no internet transmission is completely secure.

The application uses third-party services, including:
